East Riddlesden Hall (Keighley)

Let us take you on a walk from the town centre to explore the natural and built heritage of your river.

We have a confession to make. Its not just the 17th-century manor house that gets us excited about East Riddlesden Hall, the river is pretty special here too. Ignore the fabulous architecture and stroll down through the grounds to riverbank. Then take a moment to admire the wide sweeping bend and gravels that hide below the shallow waters of our very own River Aire.

This is one of the locations we believe will see salmon spawning during DNAire. The National Trust has already started rolling out the red carpet with habitat improvements in the beck that run through the property to improve its potential for spawning trout and salmon.
