Working with schools

Are you a Teacher looking for an engaging way to explore your local river?

DNAire will take us into primary schools (Key Stage 2) to show children the STEM skills that are breathing new life into the river.  Join us as we explore the wildlife we find below the water surface and their life cycles.  Get your hands wet as we use our giant river table to show how rivers change the landscape and the effects we have as we try to it turn shape them through weirs and flood defences.  Discover the impact of pollution and what we can do in our homes to help stop it.

Our series of three workshops include a funded opportunity to visit your local river to see the ideas we learn in the classroom come to life.

If you a school in the Aire Valley who are interested in becoming involved please get in touch.
